At IPHAN — Brazil's National Historic and Artistic Heritage Institute — Giulia worked on landmarked buildings such as the National Library, Catete Palace, and the Benjamin Constant House Museum. That experience with Rio's heritage shapes every project in the studio.

Giulia Gobbi Fernandes Schiavini is an architect and urbanist with a degree from Universidade do Grande Rio (2018) and a master's in Architecture and Urbanism from Fluminense Federal University (2022), where she was part of the Urb.ANAS research group at the Large Urban Projects, Globalization and Metropolis Laboratory.
Leading her own studio since 2019, she pairs urban research with design practice — a perspective that understands the context, the history, and the city before proposing the new.
